Course Description:
This course is designed to complement and assist teachers and administrators in public, private or charter schools to develop and hone their skills to help them effectively manage the classroom behavior problems that today's students bring to school. The ultimate purpose for this course is to prepare teachers to be effective managers of their classrooms so that student learning is maximized by utilizing and showing them researched and proven strategies that work. The textbook utilized for this class describes and illustrates the management strategies that research suggests can have a major positive impact on student achievement.
