Teaching with Poverty in Mind: What Being Poor Does to Kids’ Brains and What Schools Can Do About It. By Eric Jensen (2009).
Course Description:
In this course, teachers will learn how poverty hurts children, families, and communities and how schools can improve academic achievement and life readiness for students coming from poverty.
